The GLOBS magazine was released at the end of January 2017. This was preceded by a long process of work, during which the content, the columns and the look were planned and invented.
The title, itself, implies globality, a global insight into the life of foreign affairs and trade. Therefore, the content of the GLOBS magazine mostly answers or reveals to these current issues.
Our magazine works together with professional Hungarian and foreign journalists, and with an excellent editorial staff as well. For instance, members from the banking sector, from the Ministry of Finance, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and from several other professional workshops, just to mention a few.
The GLOBS is the only magazine in Hungary that focuses on foreign affairs and trade. The topics cover the different aspects of social life, business and culture (especially business culture), research and development, investment opportunities, charity initiatives, and the everyday life of the diplomatic delegations. Without aiming to give an exhaustive list:
- Our GLOBAL column analyses the relations between the particular regions of the world - prepared by the best Hungarian experts.
- Our POLITICAL column shows the currently most important political issues.
- Then, the SECURITY POLICY column brings pictures directly from the field: reports from special places with special people.
- While our INVESTMENT column suggests practical advices and ideas for investors.
- And we also have a CHARITY column because even business has a heart.
Besides these, it has an outstanding structure as well: eye-catchingly big titles, great living photos and rich content.
The magazine is written in English. At first it was published in only a few hundred copies, which increased into more than 3000 copies by now.
What is more, we were honored to be the official media partners of the FINA World Championship in 2017, due to which our thematic port number was completed in more than 10,000 copies, addressing the foreign competitors coming here; therefore, we can use the FINA logo as well.
Our magazine has not only an offline, but an online version too. In addition, we have more than 6,000 active followers both on www.globsmagazine.com and on Facebook.
Our magazine is available for a high-priority mailing list both abroad and in Hungary (including: ministries, state secretariats, embassies, consulates, prominent persons and business companies). Besides these, we can be found in the Relay and Inmedio stores nationwide, as well as in the government waiting room of the Ferihegy Airport, and the Sky’s Court Lounge. We are also filling up hotels: you can come across with the magazine in the majority of hotel halls in Budapest and in the countryside.
About ads: We have bigger multi and state partners that reinforce the magazine's prestige, so our magazine will provide a kind of harmonious quality for our advertisers in the long run. A thematic sheet has also been published, showing the economic characteristics, investment opportunities and cultural programs of a country considered to be important by an ambassador.
Based on the number of copies and advertiser feedbacks our magazine is developing dynamically; however, we would like to continue this tendency in the future.
