The terrorist organisation, the so-called, Islamic State, or ISIS as it is generally called by the international press, is currently the world’s most known terror organisation. It has declared itself supreme over all the world’s Muslims and states the spread of fear and uncertainty among its most important objectives. Hardly a week passes without news of some atrocious act by the Islamic State. Why and how was the Islamic State established? Who founded it? And what is its underlying ideology? Read our report to find out.

The ideology behind Islamic State
However we look at it, in terms of organisation Islamic terrorist groups arise out of the theory of the world Salafist movement. The Salafists used the Koran and Saria law as their references in everyday life, as well as in court, and reject any external intervention in their lives. Salafist principles have constituted one of mainstays of the modern Muslim Brotherhood movement, ever since its inception. The Egyptian, Syyid Qutb, is one of the leaders of the Egyptian organisation of the Muslim Brotherhood and his theology has connections with the arguments used by the current Jihadist organisations. Sayyid Qutb has denounced and rejected the culture and the global relations of the United States and still calls US society as the pre-Islam period, Jahiliyyah, i.e., godless and pagan. The Egyptian writer and teacher considers Islam and the Saria a constitution for Muslim society and has declared Jihad against America. His theology still attracts the attention of thousands of young Muslims under the flags of various radical organisations. The present day Jihadist and terror organisations denounce and act against not only the US, but are also acting against Europe and particular religious and ethnic groups. To counter the evil of the West the organisation, in its theories and propaganda, propagates the need for the establishment of a totally Islamic Caliphate, and to that end force everyone in the areas under their control to “voluntarily” swear an oath to the leaders of the organisations.
